Greg grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University. He then attended dental school at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After graduation, he joined the Navy and moved to Bethesda, Maryland where he completed a 2-year General Dentistry Residency and earned his M.S. After completion of his residency, he completed overseas tours in Guam and Japan. During his time in Japan he was selected for Orthodontic training which he completed in San Antonio, Texas.
After finishing his orthodontic residency and earning his second M.S., he moved to Portsmouth, Virginia. Dr. Gittleman is currently stationed at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth where he is the Orthodontic Department Head and sits on the orthognathic and craniofacial anomaly board.
He is dual board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Board of General Dentistry in addition to being a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and International College of Dentists. Dr. Gittleman is married to his wife, Rebecca, and has two sons, Zachary and Tyler, with a third on the way.
Daniel Chartrand graduated from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in 2012.
After graduation he joined the United States Air Force where he completed an Advance Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in 2013, and the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in 2019. He served at Offutt AFB for the past 3 years as an Associate Professor, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences as staff orthodontist for the AEGD-1 program, and orthodontist for the base.
He is currently an associate orthodontist at Igel Orthodontics in Omaha, NE.
